According to the Lebanese Health Ministry on Tuesday, at least 380 individuals have died and 1,122 have been injured in Lebanon since the ceasefire with Israel started on April 17. Among the deceased, 108 were emergency responders.
Health Minister Nasser Al-Din stated at a press conference that Israel has been attacking emergency and medical staff, noting that these incidents will continue to be recorded.
Israel has consistently stated that its conflict is with the Iranian-supported militant group Hezbollah rather than the Lebanese government or its citizens.
According to the ministry, since March 2, when Hezbollah began its assaults on northern Israel shortly after the US-Israeli conflict with Iran started, at least 2,882 people have died and 8,768 have been wounded.
Israel and Hezbollah have exchanged fire, even with the later ceasefire that both sides have blamed the other for breaking.
