On Monday, uncertainty increased regarding the status of peace talks as the spokesperson for Iran’s foreign ministry stated that there were no intentions for a second round of discussions.
“Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei stated Monday at a weekly press conference that there are currently no plans for the next round of negotiations.” “We support deadlines or ultimatums to protect Iran’s national interests,” he stated.
